Information we collect

When you use the website contact form, we may collect your name, organisation where supplied, email address, message and an approved starting-point context when you followed a relevant link. We may also process basic technical and security information required to operate and protect the website.

Do not submit passwords, credentials, production data, unnecessary sensitive information or special-category information unless we specifically request it through an agreed secure process.

Why we use the information

We use the information to respond to your enquiry, assess whether Bagh Co can help and manage any resulting business relationship.

Where reasonably necessary, we may also use the information to maintain appropriate business and security records, meet legal or accounting obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Lawful basis

We normally rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing prospective client relationships. Where you ask us to take specific steps before entering into a contract with you, we may instead rely on the need to take those pre-contractual steps.

Our legitimate interest is responding to people who contact Bagh Co and managing genuine prospective client relationships. We limit the information collected to what is reasonably needed for that purpose.

The form privacy acknowledgement confirms that you have read the information provided with the form. It is not consent and it is not our general lawful basis for processing your enquiry.

Form processing by Basin

The contact form is processed by Basin, a service operated by Moonshot Ventures Inc. Basin receives, stores and forwards the submission so Bagh Co can respond. Basin is used only for the website contact form.

Basin currently retains submissions in its dashboard for 30 days on the selected plan.

Basin is based in Canada and information submitted through the form may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Further information is available in Basin's privacy notice.

Azure hosting and security logs

The public website is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Essential technical and security logs may be processed to operate and protect the website. These logs are not used for advertising.

Analytics, cookies and similar storage

Necessary browser storage supports website operation and remembers your cookie choice. Microsoft Clarity remains unloaded until you actively allow Analytics. You can withdraw Analytics permission at any time by using . Bagh Co does not use advertising cookies.

Privacy-choice record
bagh-cookie-preferences is stored in your browser's local storage for up to six months. It records whether you allowed optional analytics so we can respect your choice. It is necessary for the cookie control itself.
Private preview authentication
Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps may use essential session cookies when an authorised user signs in to the private preview. These authentication cookies are not used on the anonymous production website.
Microsoft Clarity
If you allow Analytics, Microsoft Clarity collects interaction and diagnostic events and creates visual reconstructions of page use. It may set first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk. Advertising storage remains denied and Clarity Consent API V2 receives your choice.
Search engine tools
Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools help verify, crawl and index the website. The Google verification meta tag does not run tracking code or set a cookie. Bing can verify ownership by importing the existing Google Search Console property, so no Bing tracking identifier is required.

Who receives the information

Information may be processed by Basin for contact-form processing, Microsoft Azure for website hosting and security, Microsoft Clarity when you allow Analytics, professional advisers where reasonably necessary and public authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Retention

We normally retain an enquiry for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact. If the enquiry results in an engagement, relevant information may become part of the client record and be retained for the period applicable to that relationship. We may retain information longer where required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

Individual rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to:
